2019-04-09 ASROCK INDUSTRIAL TO SHOW LATEST AMD & INTEL SYSTEMS, MOTHERBOARDS AT JAPAN IT WEEK SPRING
Taipei, Taiwan (April 9, 2019) ASRock Industrial Computer, the world's leader in Industrial PC motherboards, will show a range of robust, flexible embedded products at the 28th Japan IT Week SPRING in Tokyo, from April 10-12, 2019, Booth: W6-34.
In the 4"x4" NUC form-factor ASRock Industrial features two products, one with an Intel® Whiskey Lake chip and one with an AMD Ryzen-based chip. The NUC-8265U is a powerful, compact system with a 1.6GHz, 15W, 8th Gen Intel® Core Processor Whiskey Lake-U i5-8265U CPU. It supports Dual Channel DDR4 SO-DIMM 2400MHz up to 32GB. Also inside are two M2 ports: one 2230 Key E, for PCIe or USB, and one 2242/2260 Key M, for SATA3 and PCIe. External interfaces include two DisplayPorts, three USB 3.0, one HDMI and two RJ45 for 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet. Three simultaneous displays are supported.
ASRock Industrial's AMD solution -- also in the 4"x4" NUC form factor -- is based on a Ryzen Embedded V1605B and supports dual channel DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz and also ECC memory SO-DIMM up to 32GB. There are two ports for DisplayPort 1.4 and one for HDMI 2.0 output that can display three separate screens at the same time or be configured to one large screen. In addition, 4K video output is supported.
Both AMD and Intel® solutions come in a ruggedized, metal chassis and employ a 25W fanless design for the toughest environments up to 50°C. They are both available separately as motherboards only, with or without fans.
Also at Japan IT Week Spring will be ASRock Industrial's athena product line. The athena A1 is an AI edge camera which supports Intel's Movidus™ and OpenVINO™ tool kits for recognition analysis applications. The athena camera is 2MP, 1080P with 30fps, and the H.264 codec spec to deliver high definition resolution footage for powerful recognition analysis. It provides VIP customer service, crime prevention, consumer behavior analysis and other tools that assist the business operator to create more value-added services. The other products in the athena family are built to be customized with different cameras and memory range supported.
Finally, ASRock Industrial partners with Gorilla Technology's IVAR (Intelligent Video Analytics Recorder) to create the perfect edge gateway for video monitoring. Track, analyze, and search people, vehicles, and objects in real-time with Gorilla's event monitoring and analysis tools. The Jupiter H310 runs on Windows® 10 64-bit and is an AWS-qualified device that supports maximum 16 channels recording and 6 channels recognition based on Intel's 8th-generation Core i7-8700 processor (up to 65W TDP) and DDR4 16GB memory operation. It has two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C and two USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports on the front to go with the four USB 2.0 rear ports for easy expandability.
